Overview

ReportPilot (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it. We keep things simple: we collect only what we need to deliver and improve the product.

What we collect

  • Email address — when you sign up for early access. Used only to contact you about ReportPilot updates and your waitlist status.
  • Analytics data — we use PostHog to understand how visitors interact with our website. This includes page views, button clicks, and basic device information (browser type, screen size, country). PostHog is self-hosted and privacy-focused. We do not sell this data to third parties.
  • UTM parameters — if you arrive via a campaign link, we capture the source, medium, and campaign name to understand which channels bring visitors.

What we do NOT collect

  • We do not use cookies for advertising or retargeting.
  • We do not share or sell your personal data to third parties.
  • We do not collect payment information at this stage.
  • We do not access your ad platform data until you explicitly connect your accounts (future feature).

Analytics & cookies

We use PostHog for product analytics. PostHog sets a cookie to identify unique visitors across sessions. You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time by declining the cookie consent banner. If you decline, no analytics data is collected.

PostHog data is used exclusively to improve the ReportPilot product and understand which features matter most to agencies. We do not use this data for advertising.

How we protect your data

  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
  • Email addresses are stored securely and never exposed publicly.
  • We limit access to personal data to team members who need it to operate the service.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us. If you signed up for early access, we will remove your email from our list. If you opted into analytics, you can opt out via the consent banner or by clearing your browser cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as ReportPilot evolves. If we make significant changes, we will notify users via email or a prominent notice on our website. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
